Foseco History PDF Print E-mail

From its humble beginnings in a small room near Birmingham’s Bull Ring it has become an international supplier of consumable products to the foundry and steel industries.

Foundry Services Limited was established in 1932 as a supplier of flux products to brass and bronze foundries in Birmingham, England. The "Foseco" brand name was first used in 1934 and originates from the words FOundry SErvices COmpany.

The original success of the company was based not only on the provision of high quality products, but also on problem-solving and the development of application technology. This philosophy remains one of Foseco’s core values to this very day.

Over this time, Foseco has been responsible for a great many innovations, not just in consumable products but also in foundry process and product application. Take a look a the Foseco Timeline for more details.
