A wide range of hot face refractory products are available which suit specific requirements of melt cleanliness, temperature control and chemical resistance

Four distinct product types are available:

• Preformed Boards - KALTEK and GARNEX refractory boards are used respectively on foundry ladles and steel mills tundishes ensuring a clean dry insulating lining each installation.
  
  
• Refractory Sprays - Applied by gunning and spraying; this system known as TUNCAST, can be fully automated to apply hot face linings to tundishes.
  
  
• Dry Chemical / Heat Set -This system, TUNDEX, allows quick turn around of tundishes without the need for drying in a "cold start" situation. Various grades are available to cater for a variety of applications.
  
  
• Preformed Ladles - INSURAL ATL ladles enable molten aluminium to be held at temperature in a clean, non wetting, ladle for extended periods.
